As a woman who was devastated by the loss of her mother, I came to this work through grief almost 20 years ago.
My mother could jitterbug on ice skates, type 120 words per minute, play classical piano - and - out-drink, out-swear, and out-maneuver almost any man she chose to. Colorful, bold, never forgotten by anyone who met her - and - utterly defeated by relationships.
When my second marriage fell apart , I finally saw what she couldn't: the patterns, the beliefs, the inheritance of role playing that keep women performing, not connecting.
Everything I've ever created was born in the fire of these discoveries. Add to that my Human Design — Line 1 — that won't allow me to be shallow, or put a band-aid on something that needs surgery.
My clients joke about something I said once: the truth is like a hot poker. It hurts like hell the first time it lands. And it stops the bleeding.
