The Alchemy Room

If You’ve Done the Work, Why Does Love Still Leave You Empty and Hopeless?

WELCOME TO THE ALCHEMY ROOM

A nine-month transformation for women who “know”… and still can’t break the relationship patterns that aren’t working.

It’s not you.

At least not in the way you imagine.

I know because I’ve spent ten years coaching women who ask the same question.

And because I’ve lived it — more than once.

That moment when you realize no matter how much insight or support you have…

it still isn’t clicking.

This intimate, guided program helps you reclaim self-trust. It’s for women who’ve given everything, only to ask:

Why don’t I feel joyful about a life I worked so hard to build?

It’s a nine-month journey. Why nine months?

It takes nine months of gestation to birth a new life.

This is your rebirth.

We begin with self-awareness using a tool that reveals specific fears and shows how emotions shape our choices. Everything we do is driven by how we want to feel.

You’ve made choices based on what seemed like the only solution at the time. In hindsight, we rationalize them. What I want you to see is the moment of choice—and gain clarity on what’s truly driving it. That’s where the real change begins.

The first three months? You’ll begin to feel what you’ve been avoiding. One day, you’ll wake up and wonder why it seems that although nothing around you has changed, but you have, and life feels easier. That’s the First Trimester.

Like the first trimester in pregnancy, you sense the shift internally, but your mind argues for  “proof” that it’s real. Resistance and doubt may arise, but once  you experience the flow, you’ll have more energy, more excitement. Others will notice too, and become curious.

Welcome to the Second Trimester.

As you move through the acceptance of things you used to hide, you’ll feel lighter, freer, more confident. This isn’t about “fixing” yourself. You are not broken. Every experience in your life has left its mark and taught you something. We’ll acknowledge those experiences together, face the fear, and use it as an ally rather than an enemy. You’ll move through it—not around it.

By the Third Trimester, the shifts in you will be undeniable. Much like how strangers want to touch a pregnant belly, people will be drawn to your radiance and new life. They’ll want to “feel” it too. This is when your transformation begins to impact everyone and everything around you.

Now…

For the fun stuff

So what is this program – exactly?

A Course to Create Self Intimacy

This is where you build the foundation needed for self-trust, in a space where you can’t get it wrong. You’ll begin collecting proof of your own magic—your gifts, your talents—and get clear on what you can control.

You’ll discover what you can live with and what you cannot live without. And you will begin to ask for it, with open arms and no defensiveness.

You’ll show up differently, navigating circumstances that once shut you down. And you’ll see how “being” more—not doing more—feels effortless.

The Mechanics: (The How)

  • Two 90-minute calls/month (you, two other women, and me)

  • Quarterly private 1:1 sessions (BONUS when paid in full, see below)

  • A proprietary, personalized program rooted in your Human Design chart, with studies on energy and the body, framed within biblical guidelines

  • Weekly written and recorded materials, designed to let you walk at your own pace

  • Evaluation forms to create simple, actionable steps for growth and reflection

  • A structure that holds space for you to move forward in your own way, inside the life you are already living

  • Private access to your small group and to me via email (1x/week, if paid in full)

But here’s the truth:

After years of working in this space, I’ve learned that most of us don’t want to work in a group. We think our problems are unique and personal. And I get it. We’re guarded, for good reason. But here’s the truth:

Yes, your pain is personal - because you’re unique.

And no, that doesn’t mean it’s a solitary struggle - the problems we face are universal.

Studies and my own experience show that working in an intimate setting fosters faster, deeper, and more lasting change. It’s a comfort to know you’re not alone.

The Easy Part -

How to know -

Is this for me?

Are you a woman? Simple, huh?  Okay, seriously…

I’ve never been great at pretending.

Deluding myself? Hiding? Sure. I’ve done that.

But pretending everything’s fine? That was always harder for me to hold.

That’s how The Alchemy Room was born.

At some point, I realized no course, no program, no reframe, no amount of high-vibe thinking was going to heal the parts of me I was still afraid to look at.

Until it became crystal. freaking. clear…

Rejecting the “ugly” parts was exactly what kept me from healing them.

And from seeing the beautiful parts.

More importantly, it kept me from receiving what I most wanted.

That’s why I created The Alchemy Room.

And it’s why I teamed up with another powerful woman — Nicole Kaufman.

Together, we guide you into the places you’ve avoided.

Not to make you cry.

To help you reclaim your voice, your self-trust, and your ability to create relationships that actually feel like home.

Is this for me?

Is this for me?

• Is this for me? • Is this for me?

🖤 This is for you if…

You’ve considered leaving your relationship — not because you want to blow up your life, but because you’re not sure how much more of this slow ache you can live with.

You’ve been holding it all: aging parents, a checked-out partner, a career you used to love, and no space to fall apart without breaking everything.

You’re tired of looking successful but drowning inside.

You can’t remember the last time you slept through the night, craved something other than sugar or wine, or felt genuinely relaxed in your own body.

You’ve done therapy. Read the books. Tried the gratitude journal. And it helped — but only up to the part where you still feel lonely in a room full of people who love you.

You don’t want to be saved. You want to be seen.

You’re ready to face the patterns — the caretaking, the self-abandonment, the pretending — because you know it’s costing you more than it’s giving.

You still believe in the possibility of love, wholeness, peace… but it’s buried under a grief you haven’t had time or permission to name.

You’re not asking for miracles. You’re asking for relief. For clarity. For something to change.

And deep down…

you already know you’re the one who has to go first.

What this isn’t…

Well, this isn't a First-Aid kit of platitudes, hocus pocus and A-Ha's to paper over core issues.  We've been to workshops like that, and we can tell you we came away unfulfilled.  We go deeper, uncovering the good stuff, and revealing your strengths that are unique to you.

Sure, we'll rip the Band-Aid off occasionally, and you'll thank us for it.  Change can't happen until you trust that it can.  Breathe easy.  We've got you!

It also is not step-by-step, do this, do that guide. I (Kim) have been told I’m bossy, (Nicole can vouch for that) but I’m not YOUR boss. Neither of us are. You are. This program is about discovering what that looks like for you.

It isn’t a five-star luxury cruise. You will meet yourself face to face and see one of two things:

1. Defensiveness -  It is natural, when you are this intelligent and have worked this hard, to believe that you know yourself and are “owning” your stuff. Maybe you are. Odds are pretty good however, that there are things you haven’t been able to see - until now.

2. Resistance  - That’s the surety that if you stopped doing what you’ve been doing the world will fall apart. Women excel at carrying things that don’t belong to them.

You may also hold out a hope that if you learn “things” it will be a magic wand to “change” your partner. We both wish (Nicole and I) that were true.

It isn’t a“fix” for anyone else in your life. Wouldn’t we LOVE to claim that it does. On the other hand, miracles happen every day, so if it changes your loved ones through osmosis, please let us know. We will start calling ourselves “MAGICAL UNICORNS WITH A SIDE HUSTLE IN DIVINE INTERVENTION. (wink, wink)

And last, but most importantly, you move through this work at your pace. This means the results are a direct reflection of the work. This program asks more of you. For a reason. You cannot fail. The material is yours to keep forever. If you slow down or stop, that isn’t failure, unless you just quit and give up.

What it really is…

Emotional pregnancy. You’re not just walking through this — you’re birthing a new life. And like any birth, it takes courage. It’s painful, facing yourself, seeing the truth, and grieving what you’ve lost. But once that life is born, all the pain fades when you look at what has been created.

This is about healing — not comfort. If comfort is what you’re looking for, this isn’t where you want to be.

Learning about how to come up for air, not hold your breath underwater. This is where you drop the masks that have kept you “safe,” guarded, hidden. We move through those defensive mechanisms you’ve used in the past  to avoid rejection, judgment, abandonment, and all “the feels” you’ve tried to outrun – until now.

Authenticity. Trying to be someone you’re not to be loved for yourself – well – not to be a wise ass – but you do see the dichotomy here don’t you?

FAQ’s

  • Absolutely.

  • No. It will show you why you don’t need to be fixed. It will show you what gets to be healed instead. And exactly how you begin that process.

Yes, process. We are always, always, either in a state of compassionate acceptance (healing) or covering our wounds with shiny armor to pretend they don’t exist.

     But they do.

  • Nine Months.

  • It is the gestation period for a new life. And that is what you are choosing - a new life. Because this life – the one you’ve created – is depleting you in some way. Because you want to feel seen, loved, appreciated for who you are, not solely based on what you do. Because you want to understand what you fear, what gets in the way of authentic connection.

    This is your rebirth.

The “Big Question”

[at least it is the one I scroll to the bottom to find out FIRST!]

How Much?

$900 per month for nine months.

And it is a steal.

What you receive for this investment in your “one wild and precious life” is the benefit of two for one.

For the price of therapy alone, you have a team of two professionals walking you through a guided process to ensure you are moving in the direction you long for.

Who are we?

Almost there, but we needed to answer the second question everyone wants to know…

I Lovingly Call it - The Backdoor Question:

Is there a refund policy?

I won’t hide here. I struggle with this — as a consumer, I want a refund policy.

But why?

If I’m honest with myself, it’s because I want a back door. I want to rationalize why I’m not doing the work.

That’s me. Maybe it isn’t you.

So, here’s the deal I’m willing to offer:

14 days. For the first 14 days anything you’ve paid is 100% refundable.

And…

You may stop the program at any time, with at least one week’s notice.

However,

If embarking on this journey you are already wanting a guarantee, the solution is simple… Commit.

Hi, I’m Kim

For most of my life, people saw what they wanted to see in me.

And I tried to live up to it.

Oldest daughter. “Mommy’s big helper.” Overachiever.

I learned early that perfection was safer than truth.

That love had to be earned.

That showing up as myself might cost me everything.

It didn’t start with relationships — but it always showed up there.

I’ve been married three times.

Each one taught me how easily I disappeared in the name of love, how fast I could trade self-trust for approval.

Even after becoming a coach, I still found myself asking:

Why do I keep doing this?

I could name the pattern. I just couldn’t stop it.

So I searched. Hard.

Jungian psychology. Personality assessments. Spiritual work. Human Design.

And underneath all of it, a deep, unshakable desire to love and be loved without losing myself again.

The Alchemy Room was born from that journey.

I don’t have a formula — I have lived experience.

I know what it means to unravel everything and still long for connection.

I know what it costs to keep pretending you’re fine when you’re not.

And I believe this with everything in me:

You can’t heal what you’re still hiding.

And you can’t receive what you don’t believe you’re worthy of.

This space is about coming home to yourself.

Not just to feel better — but to stop ghosting the woman you were before the world told you how to be.

You’re not here to be fixed.

You’re here to be seen.

And I’m here for that.

Hi, I’m Nicole

This year marks ten years as a therapist.

And I still marvel at this work — at people’s ability to shift, sometimes radically, into a version of themselves that may be unrecognizable… but is always welcomed.

I’m still humbled, every time, to witness transformation.

Becoming a therapist didn’t happen early for me.

I dipped my toe into a lot of industries — all captivating for a time.

The oldest daughter of entrepreneur parents, I bristled at the thought of a lifelong W-2 and never really played well with others. I pinballed through career paths, restless and searching.

Relationship therapist and author Terry Real says, “We marry our unfinished business.”

And let me tell you — I did. Twice.

The first time, I settled for “good enough.”

By the time my son was two years old, I was out.

The second time, I married potential.

We were going to be a power couple. He’d be the rock I could crash against.

Then I had a breakdown.

My husband got a job out of state, and we planned to move.

My son’s father wasn’t paying child support anyway, so the opportunity felt exciting — stable, finally.

Then, out of nowhere, he sued me for full custody.

Court. Lawyers. Chaos.

The judge ruled that I could move…

But I had to leave my son behind.

He was eight.

I was shattered.

I spent the next four years in court.

It drained me emotionally, financially, and ultimately destroyed my marriage.

I kept looking for a therapist who could hold me.

Someone who didn’t just ask how I felt, but someone who could meet me, walk with me, speak to me.

Once, I even asked a therapist to just tell me what to do.

She cried harder than I did. I had to walk out of that session.

That was the moment I knew —

Something had to change.

I’m not your usual therapist.

I’m transparent.

I’ll tell you when I see something.

I’ll share what I’ve lived through when it connects — not because I’m centering myself, but because we are all navigating the mess and magic of being human.

I’ve been a single mom.

I’ve sold cars, houses, and my soul (briefly) to corporate life.

I’ve jumped out of a plane — twice.

I’ve been catfished by a man hiding from the IRS with four kids and a long list of unpaid child support.

I’ve seen some shit.

And I’ve got stories.

But what I’m here for is this:

Resilience.

Reclamation.

Real, rooted growth.

So pick your hard.

Keep the mask on.

Keep pleasing.

Keep white-knuckling your way through a life you secretly hate.

Or?

Walk a new path with us.

One that leads to a life that’s messy, honest, nuanced… and completely, unapologetically yours.

Let’s do this.

An outline of the work we do together:

FIRST TRIMESTER you will be adjusting to your new experience.

1. Welcome to The Alchemy Room
Orientation, expectations, and how to get the most out of our time together.

2. Whose Life Is This Anyway? Healing history.
Peeling back the layers of identity, story, and expectation. In other words, why you shut down, protect yourself or pretend you don’t want what you want.

3. What Do I Actually Want?
The trick question - which emotions are driving your life, for whom? The truth of desire — owning disappointment, the lessons life has thrown at you, and giving yourself permission to bow out, step back, re-asses and then, step the “you know what” UP.

4. Seeing the Whole Picture
An introduction to your Human Design chart — from overwhelm to insight.

  1. The Way You Move Through the World
Exploring your energy type and how it impacts your decisions, others, and relationship rhythms.

  2. The Power of Inner Authority
Building Self Trust to take action based on what’s best for you. News flash, sacrificial love is not love, it’s fear.

5.  What Shapes You
Understanding energy Centers — how you process, absorb and project energy- whether you are aware of it or not.

  1. The Places You Feel Everything
Diving into the Awareness Centers — where sensitivity meets wisdom to counter fear and heal wounds.

  2. The Mind Maze
The truth about anxiety. Reclaiming clarity, curiosity, and mental space from the pressure to “figure it all out.”

  3. The Emotional Wave
Identifying and honoring your emotional patterns, recognizing what is yours and what isn’t, so emotions are not hijacking your joy.

SECOND TRIMESTER you begin to find your way around this new life and it’s impacting how you show up in relationships - all relationships

6. The Quiet Knowing
Tuning into the body’s instincts and subtle signals for grounded confidence.

7. How the World Sees You
Your Profile — what you need to be who you are, and why you’ve always felt a push/pull between visibility and safety.

8. Keys That Unlock Everything
A personalized look at the gates that shape your energy, gifts, and lessons.

9. Why You Feel Disconnected - or Want to Disconnect
Understanding how your energy connects (or doesn’t) and why that matters in relationships.

10. What Lights You Up
Recognizing how your energy is meant to flow and where your inspiration lives.

THIRD TRIMESTER it shows - there is no going back.

You may experience extra neediness from those around you, who are accustomed to you being “a certain way.” It may get prickly on some days and you may even question whether it was worth it, but you’re too far in. You can’t “un-ring” the bell now. It’s here.

And then, one day, it’s like the storm blows throw. There is a mental clearing, and suddenly the most beautiful rainbow - a moment that actually brings tears to your eyes. It hits each of us differently, but I’ll challenge you to remember reading this when that moment happens for you. Because it will if you don’t give up on yourself.

11. Integration: Making It Real
No more mental theories — all practical applications. This trimester is all about using what you’ve learned in practice with how and who you live with.

a. Practicing Your Truth
Building courage, trust, and action that comes from alignment, not performance.

b. Working More Using Less Energy

Mastering life things, like boundaries, complete honesty, clarity about what is yours and what isn’t. You will learn how to “Let Them”

12. What Comes Next?
Celebration, learned practices that create ritual, and clarifying what the next chapter looks like — on your terms. Legacy, community impact, giving back, sharing. In essence, now that the monkey is off your back - taking that new empowerment and transformation into the world.
