Transit Tonic for September
Here we are and Happy September. This is my birthday month… and I have some big Transits happening at the same time. Gate 64 The Gate of Confusion is my Conscious Sun… how would like that? To have the most influential Gate in your Design be Confusion! LOL
I’ll be honest, when I began the journey of discovery into Human Design, I wasn’t sure whether to feel relieved that it was so accurate, or angry that it was. I used to use that as an example when giving chart readings for women if they were “unhappy” with some aspect of their chart. I’d share that my conscious Sun is Gate 64 and my conscious Earth is Gate 63 The Gate of Self Doubt. So 70% of my chart is confusion and self doubt! Yay me… what I’ve discovered however is there is always a plan. A season for all things - and faith is the only thing we can truly rely on. Our minds like to argue that. Our minds don’t like the unknown.
But life is unknown. Our only control is how we respond to it.
Once I dove deeper into what these gates represent - I learned how to respond. That’s what I want to set you up for this month - response over reaction.
So, let’s dive in, shall we, because this month is full of things to respond to.
We are already here, now in Gate 40 - The Gate of Aloneness that calls us to balance our responsibilities to our families, community with healthy boundaries. It asks us to notice where we over give or become self reliant in an unhealthy way - with what we feel we are “supposed” to give to others.
And this is just the kick off. With the Earth anchored in Gate 37 it highlights the push pull to bring clarity to the question - where am I giving out of obligation versus where am I giving out of devotion?
SELF SACRIFICE IS ROOTED IN SELF DOUBT. IT NEVER BRINGS THE RETURN YOU HOPE FOR. COMMUNITY FLOURISHES ONLY ON RECIPROCITY.
But by Wednesday, September 3rd we will will already be moving into my sun gate - And these are the gifts I’ve learned from it
Confusion is a gift. It is the integral and essential first step to new discoveries. For if we are always certain - we become rigid and inflexible - fighting against anything we don’t “know” or believe to be true.
The shadow of confusion is found when we arrogantly try to force answers - usually to “please” or win approval. The tension between what we often see as scattered thoughts and the “aha” moment of clarity are full of wonder and possibility. This is where the imagination lives.
If you find yourself in a mental fog, or only having half formed stories, or déjà vu - deep breath. This is not a break down. It is a collective unraveling of old narratives making way for insight.
How could you use this time to relax into “uncertainty” no matter what your mind is screaming at you to do…or what someone else “expects” you to do?
How might you pause for the process and entertain uncertainty in a way that becomes almost like play?
That has been my quest since discovering HD. As Richard Rudd explains it - the gift of this Gate is imagination - translating chaos into clarity. And this is my gift. This is what I do.
I hear the words you might not say. I feel the energy you might not even be aware of. And that is why this is my conscious Sun - because this is my strength in my work. I find the threads that you feel are a jumble of knots and “unknot” them to show you what is possible.
In it’s highest form (and no - I am not there - but I am seeking) this is the transformation of confusion into light itself.
“FOR NOW WE SEE ONLY A REFLECTION AS IN A MIRROR; THEN WE SHALL SEE FACE TO FACE.” – 1 CORINTHIANS 13:12.
For me that path lies in hearing God in the sound of birds, seeing Him in a thousand different pink flowers.
What would be without imagination and creativity.
So, when you feel the pull to “know” something, or someone tells you that you “should” know - smile. They are the ones walking in the shadow.
Allow yourself to see confusion as the first stage of imagination. And if you’re curious what you own map reveals - ask. This is my birthday month, and I would love to show you the brilliance of your design.

What does “FAITH” look like for you?
This is a very personal question - and unique to each of us.
For me - faith is the essence of things not seen. And that is what this energy beckons us to consider… can we allow what we cannot define, answer, or describe. Can we still trust, if we do not see the final conclusion.
Your mind would argue no. And therein lies the struggle.
But the secret lies in not forcing what you don’t know.
The gift of this gate is a realization that arrives in stillness - not force. It involves sifting through what we know and looking at al things from different perspectives. To master a mindset of openness - allow inspiration to flow.. Don’t be crushed by the weight of having to know the “how”.. Follow the vision and the how will come.
The shadow of this gate feels like oppression - being stuck until you know exactly how it will come to pass.
So again, I ask… what is your definition of faith?
Practice: Create breathing room for insight. Walk. Pray. Sit in quiet. Let the picture develop.

I’ll be honest: I carry this gate, and yes, I wince when I consider my vanity… I take care of my body, my skin, my face - not as well as I could, or perhaps should.
Getting older isn’t for sissies. A part of me laughs at how much it matters to me — and yet, that’s exactly what this gate teaches. Human Design Gate 46 is the gate of embodiment, sometimes called “Love of the Body.”
“It’s about being fully here — in your skin, in your life.”
I fail at taking photos of events for this very reason. When I am with someone, or experiencing it, I am not in the future thinking about memorializing it.. “It’s why I struggle with social media — selfies, filming my story every day. When I’m living it, I’m not documenting it.”
I just don’t think about it.. Because I am smelling the air, I’m listening, touching, tasting, watching.. Seeing.. recognizing that my body is the vessel of my experience.
Being fully present in our bodies enhances our understanding of our identity. It strengthens our connection to the physical world. Ask anyone who has had surgery or lost mobility. We are souls in vessel. To find our true place and purpose there is not one without the other.
The shadow of this gate is seriousness: taking life so heavily that you forget to delight in the physical.
The gift is determination — showing up with delight, trusting that when you are fully present in your body, life meets you there
Practice: Move. Touch the ground. Choose the most alive option.

From confusion to realization, through friction, into embodiment, and finally correction—September asks for response, not reaction. If you want these energies translated to your actual life and relationships, your chart already knows where to start.
The Dilemma & the Gift
This month may feel like standing in the churn of endings and beginnings at the same time. Fog, crisis, and emotional intensity are real—but so is the opportunity to refine your voice, clarify your patterns, and commit to belonging without losing yourself.
For You
This is not a month to coast. It’s a month to pay attention:
What are you carrying that’s ready to end?
What ideas need structure instead of more spinning?
Where are you giving your loyalty away too cheaply?
As Paul wrote in Ephesians 5:15–16: “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” This is that kind of month: awareness + clarity + courage = opportunity.
