May is the month voice meets embodiment — the natural evolution of the past months’ emotional honesty and integrity. It calls for movement through expression: to give language to what’s been learned, felt, and reclaimed. The Throat and Solar Plexus energies open, asking for emotional truth to be spoken — not performed, not edited, but released. Recenter by noticing what truths stay trapped in your body. Reconnect by letting your voice move emotion into form. Reclaim your expansion by trusting that what is real will always resonate.

Direction from within. The knowing that does not need permission. The inner compass that gets drowned out by everyone else's noise.
Gate 2 is the inner compass — the knowing that does not need permission. Gate 20 is presence — what is actually happening right now underneath what you are performing.
Together they ask: what would you choose if you stopped trying to guess what he wants?
When I was a little girl I was taken to a "grown-up" party — though looking back, the grown-ups were in their mid-twenties. Things change. But that aside, there was a game where someone got under a blanket and had to guess what the rest of the group wanted them to remove.
No one got it right.
It was the blanket.
That is how life often unfolds. We are so busy and so intent on finding it — whatever it is — that we miss what is right in front of us. That is the energy of Gate 20. Being in the now, instead of the anxiety of future-projecting or the regret of living in the past.

Stop reading for a second.

Gate 23 — Splitting Apart / Assimilation

The knowing you cannot yet explain. The thing you see clearly that has not arrived in language. The split second before the pattern becomes visible.
The approach/avoidance dance.
You know something. And you keep not saying it. You circle it. You change the subject inside your own head. You tell yourself you are not sure when you are sure. You are not avoiding the truth — you are circling it because the language has not arrived yet.
That is Gate 23 doing its job. The knowing that lands before the words do.
If you are an Enigma — you know this dance intimately. You circle the thing you know until you have convinced yourself you do not know it.
If you are a Luminary — you see the whole picture and keep getting pulled away before you can name it.
Gate 23 is the gate of the knowing that arrives before you are ready. Your job is not to explain it. Your job is to stop running from it.

When you feel the urge to go tend the garden — metaphorically or literally — stop. Just for sixty seconds. Ask: what is the thing I am not quite ready to know?

Contribution. The desire to matter. To leave a mark that is unmistakably yours — not what you were asked to be.
You have been trying. What if trying harder is the wrong move?
The packed mental bags. The one-foot-out-the-door energy. That is Gate 8 — the ache to matter, to make a mark, and the terror that leaving means admitting the contribution was not enough.
But contribution is not measured by whether the other person received it. Contribution is measured by whether what you offered was honestly yours.

What have you been contributing that no one asked for, that no one is receiving, that you keep offering anyway?
That is not your contribution. That is your performance.

Gate 16 — Enthusiasm / Skills
May 27 – June 1 | Throat Center | Channel 16-48 (Wavelength / Talent), connecting to the Spleen
Enthusiasm and skill. The thing you do so naturally you stopped seeing it as extraordinary.
Gate 16 is skill and enthusiasm. The thing you do so naturally you stopped calling it a gift.
What is happening for many women this month is this: she has been applying her skill to the wrong problem. Her intelligence, her care, her capacity — all of it aimed at making him ready for her. The interruption is turning that skill toward herself.
Gate 16 asks: what are you genuinely good at — and are you using it for yourself, or are you still spending it on the wrong audience?
I want you to make a list.
Not of his failures. Of yours — meaning, the things you are genuinely extraordinary at that you have been pouring into this relationship like water into sand. Name three. Right now.
Those three things? They belong to you. They are your contribution. And they get to go somewhere they can actually land.

June will carry this outward: voice into visibility, visibility into purpose.
